Over the years – I now realize – I have lost myself.

Trying so hard to be someone else.

I have grown so cynical that, instead of finding joy in things, I've dug myself into a hole.

A hole I can't seem to get out of. No matter how much I try – for I have truly lost my way.

Messed up the diet; Apparently, Uzbek guys like me aren't cut out for this.

Back to square one. I am going to be making video reports rather than written ones.

The beast mode is ON!

Goal: Lose 10 kg by the end of June!


Day 11 #KETO

🍽 MEALS

Breakfast
: I can't remember, honestly
Dinner: pizza
Snacks: pistachios and peanuts

🏋️‍♂️EXERCISE

- no gym
- some light exercises

It's homemade and keto-friendly. The crust is made of cauliflower and cheese.


First time eating a pizza in two weeks.




Day 10 #KETO

Breakfast
: a plate of chicken with some salad
Dinner: 2 jaz kebabs
Snacks: too much pistachios and peanuts

- no gym
- some light exercises

💡 INSIGHTS

- I regret taking a cheat day. My craving has come back.

- Apparently, I don't like sugar anymore.

Day 8 #KETO

🍽 MEALS

Breakfast
: some roast chicken and salad
Lunch: 2 jaz kebabs with some tomato salad
Dinner: some roast beef with cabbage

❌ NO SNACKS

🏋️‍♂️EXERCISE

- hit the gym (shoulder day)
- walked for hours; 12K steps

💡 INSIGHTS

- Mirror is a better progress tracker than scales. Because I'm also exercising and gaining muscle, I may still weigh the same. In fact, muscle tissues weigh more than fat tissues. But I can see some real progress; even my friends commented on my belly fat shrinking — a rare thing.

- You can't believe this, but I was finally able to do a few pull-ups — something I find awfully challenging.

- Tomorrow is a big day)

Day 7 #KETO

🍽 MEALS

Morning: a plate of omelet, a plate of salad
Evening: a bowl of stew and some cucumber.

❌ NO SNACKS

🏋️‍♂️EXERCISE

- hit the gym (chest day)

💡 INSIGHTS

- I indulged in a wedge of watermelon and melon. I hope I didn't fall out of ketosis.

- I couldn't find scales, so I didn't weigh myself. I guess I will do it today.

Day 6 #KETO

🍽 MEALS

Afternoon
: some roast beef, 2 meat balls, 2 cups of curd (=qatiq), a lot of salad,
Evening: some roast beef, a lot of salad
Drink: ~ 3 litres of water and some tea

NO SNACKS

🏋️‍♂️EXERCISE

- only some push-ups (yesterday was a rough day)

💡 INSIGHTS

- I feel like I'm starting to crave again. This may have something to do with my coming to my hometown: my mom's delicious meals and nice fruit.

P.S: Today is a weigh-in day; I'm excited.

Day 5 #KETO

🍽 MEALS

Morning: 2 eggs, some meat, one chicken + 40 grams cashew (pic. below)
Evening: 2 chicken kebabs and 1 beef kebab, with bahor salad (pic. below)

NO SNACKS

- a lot of tea and water

🏋️‍♂️EXERCISE

- 12,000 steps
- 50 push-ups and squads
- stretching
- football

💡 INSIGHTS

- I did not feel any fatigue during the football match, which I normally would: THE POWER OF KETOSIS

- I am doing intermittent fasting.
