Here's the response generated by ChatGPT:

A sport I’ve watched but never played myself is ice hockey. Ice hockey is a really exciting game played on an ice rink, where two teams of skaters use sticks to hit a puck into the opponent's goal.

I first watched an ice hockey match about three years ago when I was visiting Canada. It was at a big indoor arena in Toronto, and the game was between the Toronto Maple Leafs and the Montreal Canadiens. I’d heard a lot about the intense rivalry between these two teams, so I was really looking forward to seeing it live.

As soon as the game started, I was hooked. The players were incredibly fast and skilled, gliding on the ice and handling the puck with such precision. I was especially amazed by the goalkeepers; their reflexes were just unbelievable. The crowd’s energy was infectious, and I found myself cheering along even though I didn’t know all the rules.

Watching ice hockey made me feel a mix of excitement and awe. The physicality of the game and the strategic plays were fascinating. It was also a bit nerve-wracking because the players often crashed into each other and fell, which added a level of unpredictability.

Even though I’ve never played ice hockey myself, I gained a deep appreciation for it. The experience left a lasting impression on me, and now I try to watch a game on TV whenever I can. Seeing it live, with the roaring crowd and the high-stakes atmosphere, was definitely a memorable experience.

A prompt for ChatGPT when you want help with preparing for Speaking Part 2 questions.(Or any questions from all parts)

I am preparing for the IELTS speaking exam. And I need your help. I want you to pretend to be an IELTS candidate who is preparing for the Speaking part of the test. I would like you to describe the following topic: Describe a sport you have watched before but have not played yourself. You should say what it is, how you felt about it, when and where you watched it.

The response should be within a two-minute time limit. The response should include some topic vocabulary, collocations, and other useful expressions. The language should feel natural and a bit casual because it is a speech. It should not be too formal or too informal. The answer must feel like the one produced by an actual human being with decent English skills. So, in short, give me a natural response to the topic with great language.

You can also mention what kind of sport you want ChatGPT to talk about. The instructions above are rough but detailed to some extent. Try and see for yourself. If it works, share it with your friends.

I will show you guys how to use ChatGPT to prepare for the IELTS Speaking Part 2 in just a few posts. Want it?

🎨Steal Like an Artist by Austin Kleon.

The book was such an easy read. It was fun and insightful from the start to the end. I am planning to read the sequels “Show Your Work” and “Keep Going” as soon as I can get my hands on them, insha’Allah.

I would like to consider myself a creative person, so this book appealed to me so much. Not only was it refreshing, but it was also encouraging, so much so that I now feel inspired like I used to be several years ago to do creative stuff.

This book talks about ten important things to know about creativity, and each one of them is so simple yet important.

I highly recommend it to anyone who’s also a bit creative and curious like me to read it and freshen up their perspective on doing things, anything.
