I want to share some important #interview tips I learnt from my professional development class:

1. It’s not a situation to be humble. Brag! Brag as much as you can and show that you are the one they need to hire.

2. When they ask about weaknesses or something you want to improve — please don’t say “I’m a perfectionist.” That’s simply not a good answer. And don’t say things like “I have bad communication” or “I cannot spell.”

3. If they ask “Is there a medical leave you are planning?” — do not answer. In job interviews, asking about your medical conditions or disabilities is not allowed (according to the ADA law). This includes asking about medications or how a condition might affect your job.
Instead, you can say:
• “How is that connected to the context?”
• or “I do not want to answer this question.”

4. Last but not least — PREPARE. Prepare for hours, for days… it will boost your confidence, give you better answers, and help you perform well.

Any tips you also want to share in the comments?

In the circle of two successful people, you’ll become the third.

In the circle of two believers, you’ll become the third.

In the circle of two sportsmen, you’ll become the third.

In the circle of two smokers, you’ll become the third.

In the circle of two gossipers, you’ll become the third.

In the circle of two drinkers, you’ll become the third.

Environment isn’t just your background. It’s a power that can either lift you up or pull you down.

If only they taught such simple things like Accountability, Perspectives and Emotional Intelligence in public education of our country…

If you want to maintain a very high gpa in college, you can’t afford to skip class, get low even on a few assignments, or fail one exam.

The most difficult part about college, from my experience so far, is that you have to be super consistent. You go loose for a week at high school—nothing’s wrong, you can easily catch up. But do that in college and you’ll end up in a cycle of skipping class to catch up to previously skipped class.

It’s rough, very very rough, that’s why from now on get in the habit of consistently working for several hours every single day if you plan on doing well (let’s say above a 3.7 gpa) in college.

This difficulty puts on a lot of mental load on you, and it can get really really significant—that’s why we have free therapy available 🥲

You literally can’t afford to be sick for a while, or to just give yourself a well deserved break after a week of midterms. You have to keep going at the same pace with no breaks.

High school is literally NOTHING compared to college. Everyone here used to get straight As in high school, but exam averages are mid 70s most of the time—just think about how wild that is.

I spent part of my spring break in Tennessee📍

Got the chance to explore the famous Great Smoky Mountains — they were way bigger than I expected, and I couldn’t even see it all.

Downtown Nashville was just as amazing. I will always remember the city with live music on every corner, friendly people, and a really safe, fun vibe.

It’s definitely one of those trips I’ll always cherish.
Can’t wait to see where the next trip takes me!
