I hope, 2024 has been a nice one to all. For me, it was a mix of events. I lost my grandfather this year. He was one of the very few people I truly loved aside from my father.
This year, I also had to restructure my education center by stopping working with many colleagues who are close students/friends. Initially, I was afraid to walk alone without them. I had a time when my education centre had only 160 students, compared to 2023, when I had like 1000+ students. I lost confidence to the point that I started to plan moving to another centre/city and even reached out to some people from Karshi and Tashkent for potential employment. My stress led me to have some psychological sessions (I mean real ones, not ones in which you make your gratitude list. It was a kind of mental health course).
However, the second half of the year has been so nice. First, those courses started to manifest themselves as I have become more stable and positive. I even got back my hardworking morale, and you-can-do-anything mentality. Then, I corrected some huge problems in the management of my business. Started to fix my own personal finance that was disastrous earlier.
The biggest highlight was my late result in IELTS. I am a truly lucky person since I have got so many supportive friends and family. Without them it would have been impossible.
Now, I am sitting here at home, reflecting on the past year and making my resolutions for the coming year. I cannot reveal them now, but you will all see them becoming reality soon.
Nothing is perfect, so the year 2024 is not an exception. We should appreciate it as it is. Learning lessons, taking pride from our achievements and happy moments. The only right way, I guess, is to make 2025 better than this one. Whatever goal you set for yourself, do not forget to write them down. Writing your plans and goals is a magic. I had done so with all my achievements, including getting 9.0. And, I am sure, I was the last guy everyone was expecting to get this score because I am an average or probably worse. Just a bit driven by life and necessity. Write your dreams down, and we will talk next year this day.
Happy New Year, Warriors!
Sincerely, your little captain!
