📣 British Embassy Internship Vacancy 📣
The British Embassy is seeking 2⃣ interns to work in the Political and Public Diplomacy Section who should be able to start work by 11th November 2024.
Interns are hired for an initial period of 3 months but the internship may be extended based on satisfactory performance and needs of the Section.
‼️ Internship shall not be considered an employment at the Embassy.
Interns we are looking for should have:
✅ Basic experience in research; Experience in using Internet search tools;
✅ Basic experience in mass and social media monitoring;
✅ Good understanding of Uzbekistan and regional context;
✅ Good interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with a range of stakeholders;
✅ Willingness to take initiative; be flexible, responsible and reliable team player;
✅ Proficiency in English, Uzbek, Russian languages;
✅ Good command of IT tools & graphic-design apps/software (i.e. Microsoft Office programmes, Canva etc.);
✅ Enthusiasm, flexibility, good interpersonal and communication skills;
✅ Ability to work with minimum supervision.
Applicants should also be able to provide contribution to daily media summaries, social media campaigns, and other activities e.g Chevening scholarship events in support of bilateral relations between the UK and Uzbekistan.
