Cooperation Agreement Signed with the United States Pharmacopeia (USP)
Tashkent, November 21 – Alisher Temirov, Director of the Center for Pharmaceutical Products Safety, met today with Zakiya Al-Kurdi, EMEA Regulatory Affairs and Public Policy Lead for the Middle East and Africa region.
During her visit, Zakiya Al-Kurdi toured the Center’s state-of-the-art laboratories, engaging with specialists and gaining insights into their scientific and technical efforts to ensure the safety and quality of pharmaceutical products. She commended the Center's advanced capabilities and ongoing contributions to pharmaceutical safety.
Through this program, the Center gains exclusive access to USP resources and tools, including the U.S. Pharmacopeia, the USP Education platform, and essential legal documents such as the Food Chemicals Codex and the USP Dictionary. This partnership marks a significant step forward in strengthening the quality and safety standards of pharmaceutical products.

As a key outcome of the meeting, the Center for Pharmaceutical Products Safety and the United States Pharmacopeia (USP) signed a landmark cooperation agreement. This agreement formalizes the Center's participation in the Preferential Access for Regulators Program (PAR).
Through this program, the Center gains exclusive access to USP resources and tools, including the U.S. Pharmacopeia, the USP Education platform, and essential legal documents such as the Food Chemicals Codex and the USP Dictionary. This partnership marks a significant step forward in strengthening the quality and safety standards of pharmaceutical products.
