If you got into a college and are hesitating whether you should get help from parents, this post is for you
University is the only and last big money your parents ever spend on you. All the learning center, school, and food they spent on you are their obligations. If your parents love you, and I am sure they do, they would want to do what is best for you. While it is understandable if they cannot literally pay a cent, if they hardly or not can pay, I would recommend seriously considering getting it. I, too, do not want to put burden on my parents. However, when and if they can, even if it involves selling a car, this is the only thing that is worth doing it: your education. They have done everything with your upbringing, sent to quality school, gave care, put roof above you, and gave food. And this decision will be the only last thing you will need from them. Even if they help for one year, you may find a way to get around the next year. Thus, do not look at this chance with a grain of salt.
