I'm not the kind of person who comes from car washing
Recently, I have started to understand why my dad set that IELTS 8 band score for me. Honestly, he may have even said "Hey, Alyosh, you need to get a perfect band 9". Because I know the only way I can really progress is through intellectual work.
Whenever I don't have the patience to learn something new, I remind myself: Band 8 or car washing— make a wise decision. It's a proven technique and at the end of the day learning actually becomes much easier for me.
