Years ago, I discovered the edits called "Little Dark Age." The idea behind these was to show the difference between "Good" and "Bad," or at least that's how I always interpreted them. Back then, I decided that there should be another edit, but this time about Uzbekistan. After a conversation with my friend Bilol, I found out that I wasn't the only one who appreciated these edits, and today I decided to create one about Uzbekistan.

Everyone experiences their feelings in different ways: some sing, some paint, some write, and some ignore them. I believe that editing is one of my ways to express my feelings and ideas about various subjects.

Through this video, I wanted to demonstrate that our nation has gone through a lot, and that our history is too significant for evil to make us forget it. We are one of the greatest nations, and we should embrace that.

The next time you consider speaking in Russian or English just because it's "cool," remember what your ancestors fought for and died for a century ago.

Nearly everyone subscribed to my channel is related to college admissions. My life these days revolves around college admissions; my surroundings are also connected to this topic.

Through conversations with my friends, I realized that the biggest benefit of the admissions process is not just about getting accepted; it’s about knowing yourself. It turns out that many of my friends don't truly know themselves. Their goals often feel meaningless when they ask themselves “Why?” and follow it with another “Why?” They tend to follow others’ paths, never pausing to ask themselves why they are doing so.

Most of the reasons behind their desire to study XYZ at XYZ, or why they want to achieve XYZ, aren't their own. They were given these reasons. They were told to pursue these paths and were provided with reasons to do so. Perhaps this is why they feel sad or unsuccessful in their work. Who would be happy doing something they don’t understand for reasons that aren't their own?

Think. Don’t just do. Reflect on why you chase those goals. Are they yours? Is the reasoning behind them yours? Or did you see how others were doing this and decide to follow suit?

Fish can't climb, monkeys can't fly, and birds can't swim.

Mayli, akalar-u-ukalar, siqilmaymiz.
It is what it is. If everything went as we wanted, life would be boring, and we wouldn’t change and improve ourselves.

Aside from the 'there is nothing we can do' meme, this song is beautiful indeed.

Low self-esteem.
Low self-esteem is something that most of us experience these days; it stops us from doing or achieving what we want. In my view, the core reason for this is a lack of self-exploration. Most people don’t know who they truly are. They don’t understand themselves, don’t know their role in society, and see themselves as an insignificant part of it. We often question ourselves, our values, and our roles in life simply because we lack self-awareness.
“Does someone who does nothing, values nothing, and builds nothing deserve these opportunities?” But the thing is, you do value and build something in this world; you mean something—you just don’t realize it. So, explore yourself. How can you judge someone you don’t know? You don’t need to “create” a character; you already have one throughout your life—just explore it.
Low self-esteem? No, you just don’t know who you are, what you do, what you value, what you create, and how you influence. Discover yourself, and comparing yourself to others and questioning everything will stop making sense.

One of the worst things you can do is to say that you will do the work tomorrow. The spider of productivity hasn’t bitten you for years, and it won’t bite you tomorrow either. Don’t expect to wake up in an easier world or to be a completely new person. Time without effort won’t make you better. Nothing changes if nothing changes.

Different Democracy

I have been interested in this topic for years and have slowly developed my ideas over time.
Before I begin, please know that there are no perfect ideologies.

To understand why democracy fails, we should look back to times when it was actually effective, such as the democracy of ancient Greece (until Socrates’ death) or the early democratic elections in the U.S. The difference between those democracies and the current one lies in the quality of voters. Slaves, African Americans, women, and those at the lowest levels of society were not allowed to vote. Yes, this was due to discrimination, but it was also related to the level of education among various segments of society. The Founding Fathers of democracy understood that you can’t allow people who are not interested in politics to vote on political changes; they knew that these individuals would simply be used as tools for power. Being born in a country should not be the only factor in deciding who gets to influence its future. Your football team won’t succeed if inexperienced people are choosing between a charismatic, silver-tongued 21-year-old who believes he can handle everything and an experienced 63-year-old whose entire life has been devoted to football for the head coach position. Socrates himself warned about the danger of misunderstanding the concept of democracy and even came to dislike it.

The democracy we have today often revolves around who can say what the nation wants to hear. Society is overwhelmed by its own problems, and many individuals disengage from the stakes involved during elections, effectively becoming tools for gaining power.

Was planning the day using Google Calendar and it’s colors for different tasks. Realized that my day revolves around test scores, college application, projects and resting. Nothing for personal development except reading a book. Sad, but it is what it is

Just finished watching Forrest Gump.
From what I understood, Forrest represents something unmovable. He follows the flow; he doesn’t change. He accepts and tries to use what life throws at him because, why? Life is a box of chocolates. However, he changes the people around him. Lt. Dan refuses to accept reality; he rejects himself after losing his legs, and Jenny refuses to give up and accept the fact that her life is pretty much ruined—she runs away to find a better way out. Both try to stand against the flow. Forrest helps them face, accept, and adapt to reality.
I think that’s what we are missing these days: “Go against the flow; don’t be an NPC!” Unfortunately, we are living in a world driven by productivity and the desire to be someone else. Most of us are afraid to face and accept reality. So if you are doing so, just remember that one day, you will be too tired to keep running and will have to confront reality.
