This is truly special because it's the first-ever magazine focusing on women in tech in Uzbekistan. What makes us especially happy is seeing the incredible stories of local talent featured in its pages, including some familiar faces!

Monika Avakyan, Laylo Rustamova, Saida Khalilova, Екатерина Николаева - you've created something really meaningful here. Having the magazine in both English and Uzbek means these inspiring stories can reach and inspire even more people in our tech community.

🗺 The Roadshow: Women in Tech Uzbekistan and IT Community visited Namangan and Andijan! How was it?

Incredibly motivating!

Kristina Vanina, Youth Ambassador of Women in Tech Uzbekistan, introduced the Women in Tech community, shared its opportunities for women, and gave practical advice on building and growing a personal brand.

In Namangan, we met experienced professionals and aspiring tech leaders asking high-level questions, reflecting their proficiency and enthusiasm. Meanwhile, Andijan stood out as an initiative-driven city, with passionate girls working on impactful projects solving social and educational challenges.
Thank you for your genuine warmth and engagement in both cities!

First guest lecturer from Women in Tech joins Uzum Team speaker series

As part of our newly signed memorandum of cooperation with Uzum, Uzbekistan's leading ecosystem company, Women in Tech speakers have begun participating in Uzum Team – a corporate lecture series where company employees and invited experts share their experience in IT, marketing, HR, and other fields.

Anna Ambrozevich, Director of Women in Tech Uzbekistan, became our first guest speaker and concluded the Uzum Team 2024 lecture series with her presentation "What is CRO and why is the entire world talking about it." During her talk, Anna shared her expertise in conversion rate optimization, presented real-world personalization cases from ecommerce, egrocery, and Netflix, and provided insights into the structure of the CRM market.

Special thanks to Maria Skorik and Anna Monakhova for organizing this event.

This success shows real progress in women’s education, economic empowerment, and the growth of innovative IT initiatives.

We’re committed to increasing women’s participation in the IT sector. Our educational programs aim to ensure that every woman can thrive, benefiting from the accessible public services created by the state.

Uzbekistan is a country full of talented youth, and our ambitious, creative girls are at the forefront. Empowering young women in tech is a source of national pride.

By breaking down barriers, we’re opening doors for women to lead in technology. With talent, creativity, and determination, there are no limits to what can be achieved!

This achievement reflects the power of teamwork. Thanks to international organizations, private companies, and local initiatives, Uzbekistan is building an inclusive IT ecosystem driven by diversity.

Supporting women in tech is an investment in the future—one that benefits everyone.

While progress has been made, we know there’s more to do. Women remain underrepresented, especially in rural areas. We’re working to boost computer literacy and provide technology access for rural women.
