🇺🇿 Celebrating Uzbek Culture at the “Milliy Qadriyatlar Sayli” Festival
On November 8, WIUT students gathered at the Adiblar Xiyoboni park to celebrate the 35th anniversary of the Uzbek language as the state language at the “Milliy Qadriyatlar Sayli” cultural festival! Organised with Tashkent’s higher education institutions, the event offered an unforgettable experience in honouring Uzbek heritage.
Our talented WIUT students took the stage, performing dramatic scenes from cherished Uzbek literary works:
• “O‘tgan Kunlar” by Abdulla Qodiriy
• Monologues from “Navoiy va Guli” by Alisher Navoi
The festival featured various cultural exhibits, traditional music, and performances, immersing everyone in the beauty of Uzbekistan’s history and values. It was a meaningful day, celebrating the language and traditions that shape Uzbek identity.
A heartfelt thank you to our students and everyone involved in making this celebration a memorable success!
