The process by which leather is made from animal skin can be outlined in a number of consecutive steps.

There are 12 steps involved in the process of leather making, commencing with the delivery of newly slaughtered animal skin and culminating in the waxing of dried leather. The majority of the process is completed with the involvement of human workers.

In the initial stage, animal skins are delivered from farms to the factory, where leather is made from these raw materials. Transported animal skins are then sorted into two groups according to their sizes. Having been separated, animal skins are trimmed by workers using scissors. Afterward, animal skins are salted before undergoing a 30-day curing process.

In the following phase, cured skins are soaked in water for 12–24 hours. Subsequently, wet skins are dehaired and placed in a special barrel filled with acid and salt for pickling. After that, pickled skins undergo a two-day tanning process, during which chemicals are applied to enhance durability. Before being dried by a special machine, the leather is colored and softened with oil. Finally, dried leathers are waxed manually before they are ready to be used for various purposes.

Some people believe that hard work and determination are key factors for success, while others argue that money and personal appearance are more important.
Discuss both views and give your opinion.

There is a debate over what ensures success in life, with some people claiming that hard work and commitment are the foundations of success, while others argue that success comes from the wealth and appearance individuals possess. While the latter two factors are relevant in some cases, success is mostly obtained through hard work and determination.

On the one hand, with the help of wealth and personal looks, one can build a successful career. Children brought up in affluent families are likely to achieve more in life since their parents invest enough in their education and extracurricular activities, where they can acquire important soft skills and invaluable knowledge. By applying those to real-life situations, these people could succeed. Another undeniable determinant of success is personal appearance. Those who stand out with their exceptional beauty can easily achieve their desired dreams. For example, actresses with attractive looks gain public attention sooner compared to those who are only talented and hardworking, as most people take things at face value.

However, there are other important elements of success that we cannot overlook. One indispensable factor is hard work. Success that comes from this quality lasts longer, as opposed to overnight success achieved through money and physical appearance. Jackie Chan is a good case in point. Even though he came from an impoverished family in China, he rose to fame with his work ethic. He is held in high regard by his fans worldwide because of the diligence and love he has for his job. Additionally, those who are committed enough can guarantee success in their lives. People with this essential quality are better prepared for the potential challenges and obstacles on the way toward success and usually end up triumphing.

To conclude, people hold different opinions about what determines success. Although individuals who think financial status and personal appearance play crucial roles are right to some extent, the remaining two elements of success surpass them in terms of importance, I believe.

The maps illustrate the current layout of the town and that of the town after possible changes. Overall, the town will be more accessible with the establishment of a new roundabout and highway. It is also evident that most facilities in the town are expected to remain unchanged.

At present, there is a railway crossing the town from the north to the south. To the right of the railway, a town center is located, with a built-up area just above it. In the east of the town, a ring road can be found including a roundabout in the middle, which connects an airfield in the top left corner with the town center. Moreover, a small gas station is positioned adjacent to the intersection of a railway and a ring road.

As for the proposed plan for the town, an airfield will be converted into an industrial estate, which will have access to both a ring road in the west and a railway in the east. Another noticeable change will be the extension of a ring road eastwards linking the railway and the town center. Additionally, a large roundabout is planned to be built at the center of the town where the railway and ring road intersect. A new highway will also be erected to improve the access to the town center for visitors coming from the outside of the town.

The pictures illustrate how Frenton changed from 1990 to 2012. Overall, Frenton became a more residential area with the introduction of apartment complexes, which came at the expense of vegetation over a given period. Moreover, some facilities had been kept intact, and most of them were repurposed.

In 1990, there was a high street crossing the area from the north to the south. Shops were located in the bottom right corner, with the theater adjacent to them. Houses occupied the east, and a café and park were positioned along the street. To the left of the street, the northern part of Frenton featured a school and playing fields surrounded by trees, while a wooded area could be found in the south. A bank, hospital, and library were located between these facilities.

By 2012, Frenton had experienced significant makeovers. To the right of the high street, houses were converted into blocks of flats, with other separate flats being established at the top left corner of those blocks to meet housing needs for the growing population. The theater and shops were replaced with a cinema and supermarkets, respectively. Moreover, a hotel and golf course were constructed in place of a café and park at the center. To the left side of the street, a playing area with trees was cleared to make way for blocks of flats, but the school remained unchanged. A technopark was erected at the cost of trees in the south, while the bank was knocked down to build a restaurant. However, the hospital and library were not subject to change, with the former undergoing an extension.
