Is it better to have read more books but started reading later, or does it not matter how many books you’ve finished if you began reading earlier? Reading more books can help with learning vocabulary, expressions, and writing skills or whatever. However, let’s say I have been reading for 5 years and have completed 50 books, while someone else has finished 76 books but only started 2 years ago. Who would be expected to be better at writing: me or that person?

I mean sure I’m not gonna die-deny that there could be a few unknown geniuses who could pull something beautiful off without reading jack shi. But let’s just say this is the case where I’m not one of them.
