The first book that I have finished reading in 2025 is THE 48 LAWS OF POWER.
Having been praised and elevated with much hype on the internet, the book merely met my expectations. The reason behind my frustration tails back to the depth of book which was not equally distributed across all the laws, meaning first 3-4 rules have been thoughtfully and extensively compiled, with accompanying stories reflecting the interpretation of laws and follow-up transagressions, which drives you to delve into the book, though losing the depth following rule number 10, where most of the stories merely mirror the laws or sometimes seem to be made up artificially. But this is not underestimation of the book, where some valuable stuff can be learnt, meaning reading up the brief overview of some laws is more than enough to grasp what writer is trying to say.
Rate: 6,3/10.
