🔹On 9-13 September, our Defence Section hosted the 🇬🇧UK Ministry of Defence’s Strategic Leadership Programme, which was delivered by Wing Commander Elizabeth Seymour from the UK Defence Academy and by Doctor Caroline Micklewright, a Cranfield academic.
We were incredibly fortunate to attract 20 delegates from across all five Central Asian Republics with ranks ranging from Lieutenant Colonel to General Major who learned a great deal from the programme.
📌 The Strategic Leadership Programme is a superb course aimed at emerging and future strategic leaders from within the defence and security sectors.
The objectives are
▪️to explore contemporary leadership paradigms and theories;
▪️recognise differences between command, leadership and management;
▪️consider the importance of self-awareness,
▪️and explore the significance of cultures within the context of leadership and followership.
