Today has been a day I’ve been anticipating since March 2022. That intelligent, yet humble and down-to-earth boy from Bukhara—who shattered records in Uzbekistan by achieving the first-ever band 9 in IELTS—has truly been an inspiration to me.

Yes, I’m talking about Muhammadali Sodikov.

Recently, I had the opportunity to have a free interview with him. He conducted a speaking mock test for me and provided valuable feedback. But beyond that, we spent 15 minutes discussing my future plans. You know what? He was the one who asked about them and even offered advice.

I always knew he was an exceptional person, but I didn’t realize just how genuinely kind and helpful he was. He encouraged me to pursue higher education rather than focus solely on work. I took his advice to heart—and I’m definitely going to act on it

guys guess what happened?

i had an interview with Muhammadali Sodikov.

Inspired by the long-read posts of Abdusattor aka, whom I respect a lot, I plan to open a channel, most likely with posts in Uzbek. I once made a post about this before.

I’ll launch the channel, and we’ll grow together. Can’t wait for those moments to come!

It turns out that multiple people, not just one, shared this post. It got over 200 views, which is still great for a channel with only 55 subscribers.

It’s true, though, it needs more views. I don’t have a big audience yet. But soon, I’ll be making posts about societal issues, which will also help me grow personally

I dont know why byt that little token of acknowledgement means a great deal to me.

May be i am overreacting at night when i feel exhausted.

Some people say it’s stupid to ask for reactions. I don’t completely agree with that because leaving reactions is a way of showing respect and engagement with posts.

What do you think?

By the way, idea is half taken from Ozodbek, i heard some part of it in his video lessons.

I added some. Nice and useful post.✅

🗣 Unpopular opinion

If you can consistently score 8.0+ in Listening, you are also capable of achieving 8.0 in Speaking.

To score 35+ in Listening (which corresponds to an 8.0), you must understand complex grammar structures and advanced vocabulary. This means you already have the knowledge, you just need to actively use it in Speaking. By incorporating these elements into your speech and practicing consistently, you can reach an 8.0 in Speaking as well.

Which is something, i have been practicing recently.

It has been a while since I last made a post. I've been so busy with IELTS prep.
Ramadan has somehow changed my daily routine, making it difficult to manage. Just when I finally adapt, it's already ending.

Anyway, I'll be back soon, in shaa Allah. Once I'm done with IELTS, I need to focus on 12 other goals for this year. One of them is possibly getting a teaching certificate such as CELTA or TESOL. I'll be working on it.

We'll grow together!💪

What I like about kunuz news is the language they use. How much useful language we can learn just from this news is immense. Tons of task1 language chunks.

Well, honestly, I was thinking about taking the test with IDP. However, my little brother, Saxobullo, advised me to choose BC because of the convenience of their computer-delivered tests. Anyway, I stuck to my opinion. But today's controversial topic, which was about IDP's misinformation regarding the first "niner" in Uzbekistan and its complaints, changed my mind. Finally, I decided to take the test with BC. No big deal. Probably — I don't know what the future holds — but I will take tests only with BC

A wise man doesn’t give gifts to his mother, sister, or wife only on March 8th.✅

A wise woman doesn’t ask for gifts from the men in her life—father, brother, or husband—just because it’s a special day.✅

What I don’t like about holidays like March 8th or birthdays is their weakness: the idea of giving gifts only on special occasions.

But we value our mothers and sisters every day. We treat them with love and respect all year round. So why should gifts be limited to once or twice a year?

If you truly love them, don’t wait for Women’s Day or other occasions. Give them gifts regularly—once a week, once a month, or whenever you feel like it. Show your love every day, not just on special dates.

I have reached a point where IELTS feels like nothing more than a boring and useless pursuit.

Honestly, I am only taking it so I can work freely and independently. Otherwise, I could have improved my English without it.

Once I take the IELTS, I will delete the channel. My focus is solely on self-improvement.

I may create channels on other topics, such as personal development and self-improvement. I already have one for books, and I might improve that as well

well, just found a really useful post about sources used in ielts reading. New Scientist is the most common material, i love their use of language and topics are interesting too. check it out.

Репост из: Diyorbek's IELTS
Do you think articles in the Reading section of IELTS exam are written by examiners themselves? The answer is, of course, no. IELTS examiners' responsibilty is to find the articles that are suitable for the test and create questions. Each passage is followed by 2-4 types of questions.

This picture is an acknowledgements page of Cambridge 13. IELTS is acknowledging (=recognizing) the sources of copyright material and expressing its gratitude for the permissions granted by different publications. As you can see, IELTS makes use of articles written by New Scientist more than those written by any other publication. Therefore, get in the habit of reading articles found on New Scientist as IELTS passages are usually taken from there.
