“Wizz Air didn’t let me on the flight just because I was Uzbek” – Citizen of Uzbekistan stranded after Wizz Air denies boarding

A student from Uzbekistan, who went to Germany for the Work and Travel program, purchased a ticket for a Wizz Air flight via Rome on his return trip. However, an airline employee saw his “Uzbekistan” passport and refused to let him board. As a result, the student was stranded in four countries for a week and barely made it home.
