As I was preparing for a presentation from arabic, Noticed a fun article about contronyms(Al-Addad (arab. opposites)). Asked my high school literature teacher about the examples of contronyms(enantiosemiya) in Uzbek, and here are some of them.

Note: there are much more contronyms that were formed by sarcasm (like albatta).

Ofat - falokat, chiroy

Albatta

Afandi - topqir, yalqov

Xiyla - ancha, biroz

Basir - ko'ruvchi, ko'r

Bosh - ko'chaning boshi kim uchundir boshlanishi, kimgadir yakuni (u boshi, bu boshi degandek)

Aylanib o’tish - "Otryad qishloqni aylanib chiqdi, jang qilishni istamadi" / "otryad dushmanlarni qidirib qishloqni aylanib chiqdi"
