A lot of people started to ask me about MUN.
📌So, what does MUN mean and what is a point of that?
Firstly, MUN, or Model United Nations, is an educational activity where students take on the roles of diplomats from different countries to discuss and solve global issues.(it’s kinda debate)
In simple terms:
• Imagine you’re representing a country, like its ambassador.
• You join a group (a “committee”) to talk about world problems, like climate change or international peace.
• You share your country’s views, negotiate with others, and try to come up with solutions together.

📌How long will it last?
-Usually it takes a day(from morning till the evening), but sometimes it can be even 2-3 days

📌How much does it cost?
It varies from 80.000-100.000 uzbek sums(meals will be provided 2-3 times during the event)

📌What are the benefits?
1)Firstly,by broaching different political topics with other delegates you will really enhance not only your speaking , but also thinking abilities

2)Networking. There you can find really ambitious and like-minded people, which can open doors to new opportunities

3)Debating: Learn to present arguments and defend your ideas effectively.

4)University Applications: MUN experience looks great on your resume or college applications, especially for programs in international relations, politics, or law.
