Indorama Agro: Greenhouses – supporting farmers through social project
Indorama Agro continues to implement socially significant projects aimed at improving the lives of farmers and residents of the Sirdarya and Kashkadarya regions.
Within the framework of Corporate Social Responsibility 17 greenhouses have been transferred to farmers' ownership, which will enable them to secure stable income and support their families.
The Project implemented by Indorama Agro - new opportunities for unemployed farmers. As part of the project, Indorama Agro has transferred greenhouses 0.03 hectares of each to local farmers. Thanks to this, they were able to start cultivating vegetables such as cucumbers, tomatoes, eggplants, and garlic, which opened new income sources for them.
Project participants are residents of Sardoba district (mahallas Birlik, Qo'rg'ontepa, Yurtdosh) and Akaltyn district (mahallas Shodlik, Yangi Toshkent). Many of them were previously unemployed but have now gained the opportunity to restore their income and support themselves through agriculture.
Additionally, we are actively implementing the CSR project, through which we contribute to the development of local communities.
With the support of Sardoba district khokimiyat,
10 greenhouses were distributed to the local mahalla residents. This is a vivid example of a successful public-private partnership aimed at improving the socio-economic situation in the region.
Our goal is to create sustainable development and long-term prospects for farmers. The transfer of greenhouses is not a one-time assistance but an investment in the sustainable future of farmers. We trains farmers in effective agricultural methods, contributing to the region's long-term development and bring real changes in people's lives.
