The Next Boom
X has recently released its Grok 3 mini and reasoning for beta.
Some rated it good. Some extremely capable. And some thought those ratings as mere assumptions.
While empirically-pressure-tested-against-benchmarks specs haven't been released, Grok 3 seems quite nice in terms of reasoning at least.
A big reason, I think, being that a lot of X data were fed into it. Like how the whole Reddit was injected into GPT and increasingly more.
Frequent users will have noticed this significant change in the tone and voice of the chatbot.
I am no expert in the field. But the next bubble already has occurred—in a sense. Previous ones being dotcom and estate bubbles.
Then there is PerplexityAI on sides that is trying to grapple (apparently) with Openai. Yet in fact, it just is a wrapper for it. That is, it is sort of like a centralized platform for using different sorts of bots.
But essentially, the competition is getting HUGE, and it's pretty exciting to be living and thriving in this era of progress, especially in machine learning. And we better stay-tuned to not overlook the next wave! So we too can ride on.
