Similarly, as for nuclear energy constituted 6% in 2015, while this figure is forecast to drop, with an anticipated fall of only 1% by 2040.

In contrast, wind and solar energy sources are predicted to grow significantly. Solar accounted for only 2% in 2015, but it is estimated to rise ninefold at 18% by 2040. It is predicted that wind energy source will rise significantly, with expected increase in the proportion of energy capacity reaching 12% by 2040.
