The leaders or directors of organizations are often older people. But some people say that young people can also be a leader. Do you agree or disagree?
It is thought by some individuals that older people tend to be the leaders or directors of companies. However there are those who argue that young people have the potential to become leaders. I personally agree with those who believe that young individuals have the potential to be successful leaders and should be given the opportunity to show their leadership skills.
To begin with, it is common that older people are leaders or directors of organizations, because they bring years of experience and knowledge. Experienced leaders often help younger employees and leaders by sharing their knowledge and giving useful advice. They guide and teach the next generation how to become successful in particular business. In addition, senior leaders often have professional networks that have been built over several years. These connections can lead to future collaborations that benefit the organization.
On the other hand, age should not be the main factor in one's ability to lead. Younger people should also have the opportunity to be leaders and directors. One of their significant strengths are their new ideas and creative thinking. Young leaders are open to trying new things and finding different ways to solve problems. For example, leaders like Mark Zuckerberg, who co-founded Facebook in his early 20s, shows that age is not a barrier to effective leadership and success.
Last but not least, as we are now surrounded by new technologies, organizations need leaders who can quickly adapt to new developments and trends. Younger leaders often feel more comfortable with modern technologies like social media and data analytics that help them attract with employees in innovative ways.
To conclude, both older and younger leaders have strengths that can benefit organizations. While older leaders offer experience and knowledge, younger leaders bring innovation, creative thinking and adaptability to organizations. Therefore, I believe that younger individuals have also a lot of useful skills to be become leader or director.
