One more 😎

Honestly, kinda disappointed because this student’s one of the best ever and could’ve easily pulled off an 8.0 overall. Just some bad luck with all those British Council issues.

*he got a 6.0 in Writing without even finishing Task 1, and to be honest, his essays are better than half the teachers' in Tashkent 😁

The diagram illustrates the sequence of steps involved in the recycling process of glass. Overall, it is evident that the process is cyclical and can be repeated indefinitely; however, it generally begins with the collection of discarded glass bottles from waste and proceeds through various steps, ultimately leading to the production of new glass products.

The recycling process initiates with the collection phase, in which used glass bottles are deposited into designated recycling bins. These bins are then collected by a lorry and transported to a treatment plant, where the bottles undergo further processing.

Once the used bottles arrive at the treatment plant, they are first thoroughly washed and sterilized to ensure they are clean. Following this, the bottles are crushed into smaller fragments before being melted in a specialised, high-temperature furnace. When fully liquified, the glass is gone through a moulding machine to form new bottles, which are eventually sent to supermarkets for resale, thereby re-entering the cycle of use and recycling.

The maps depict the transformation of a natural museum between the years 2010 and 2013. Overall, the museum underwent significant expansion and modernization over the given period, retaining the majority of its original amenities while also nearly doubling in size, largely by repurposing the former garden area.

Initially, the museum offered a limited array of exhibits and amenities. The entrance was located in the southern end, leading visitors into a lobby that included a ticket desk. To the northeast was the oval-shaped Ocean Hall, while two additional rectangular exhibition rooms, namely Mammals and Dinosaurs, occupied the western area. Alongside the aforementioned facilities, a large garden extended along the entire eastern side of the building.

By 2013, however, the museum had undergone significant alterations. One of the most prominent changes was the removal of the garden, which was transformed into an entirely new wing that substantially expanded the museum’s exhibition space. This new section housed an enlarged Mammals exhibit, which had been relocated from its previous position, as well as new additions, including a Human Origins exhibit, a shop, and a café. The area formerly occupied by the Mammals section in the upper left was enlarged and reconfigured to create space for new exhibitions, including an Ice Age display and a smaller insects section

The line graph provides information on the audience figures for a radio station called XYZ from 1940, along with projections for the year 2030 and beyond. Overall, it is evident that the number of listeners has experienced significant fluctuations, initially peaking before declining; however, a rise is anticipated in the coming years.

In the first recorded year, the XYZ radio station attracted just under 25,000 listeners. Over the subsequent few decades, this figure steadily increased, reaching a peak of 105,000 by the mid-1950s. However, this success was short-lived, as the number of listeners declined back to its initial level by 1960. Following a brief period of stabilization, the audience figures dropped once again, hitting an all-time low of approximately 15,000 in 1980.

In the following 35 years, the audience fluctuated and did not show any clear trend until 2000, when a modest increase began. Notably, from the mid-2010s onward, the figures experienced consistent growth, with projections indicating that the number of listeners is expected to reach around 85,000 by 2030. After this point, it is forecasted that the numbers will plateau.

The bar chart illustrates the smoking rates among men in seven countries in the years 2000 and 2015, while also providing a comparison with the global averages for both years. Overall, the percentage of male smokers worldwide declined by roughly one-tenth over this period, a trend that was mirrored by most countries, except for Egypt and Lebanon, where smoking rates increased. Notably, Mexico and Australia consistently maintained smoking rates below the global average in both years.

In 2000, Armenia, Bangladesh, and Cuba reported the highest smoking rates among men, at approximately 68%, 63%, and 53%, respectively. By 2015, these countries witnessed substantial reductions in smoking prevalence, with rates in Armenia and Cuba dropping to just over 50%. Bangladesh, in particular, experienced a pronounced decline, falling to just under 40%, though it still remained above the global average of around 35%.

In contrast, the remaining countries had lower smoking rates in 2000 compared to the global average. While Egypt’s rate surged to around 50% and Lebanon’s rose to 45% by 2015, both experiencing notable increases, Mexico and Australia consistently maintained lower smoking rates, both further reducing their figures to well below the global average by the end of the given timeframe.
