The first chart provides data on the number of train travelers over a 9-year period, starting from 2000, whereas the second chart demonstrates the proportion of trains running on time and on standard line over the same period given.

Overall, it is clear from the former graph that the number of train passengers fluctuated mildly throughout the period studied. As for the latter graph, while the percentage of trains running on time generally increased over the span covered, that for the standard line remained stable within that timeframe.

Looking at the first graph, initially, the number of train commuters was just below 40 billion, thereafter which the figure started to increase, fluctuating at around between 50 and 40 billions of passengers from 2001 till 2008 before finishing at about 45 billion.

Regarding the second graph, the proportion of punctual trains was 92% at the beginning, whilst the figure for standard line was a bit higher, at 95%. After that, the former saw a noticeable rise to 96% in the middle of the period prior to nose-diving to 92% in 2006 and again increasing steeply to 97% at the end. On the contrary, the figure for the latter stabilized at 95% during the whole period studied.
