Went to MIT for a hackathon and enjoyed it.
The team I was competing with was completely random people from discord, we did well but fell short of any prizes. I talked to and met a lot of really smart and cool people (now all I need to do is keep in touch with them)
Since I didn’t really know how to work with quantum algorithm stuff I did most of the work on the mathematical models. I wanted to pull an all nighter but ended up deciding that sleep and movies were more important.
After the hackathon I dillydallied around Boston with Mohinur (fast thinker, slow speaker) and hung out with Gozal (surprisingly good at chess) and Abdulaziz from Harvard.
I’m kind of tired, definitely exhausted, but I wouldn’t change it for the world.
