🇺🇿🇲🇾The Ministry of Digital Technologies of Uzbekistan, IT Park and the Malaysian Digital Economy Corporation (MDEC) are about to sign a memorandum of cooperation.
This agreement aims to strengthen the digital economy and promote innovation between Uzbekistan and Malaysia.
Both countries are focusing on strategies to expand their digital sectors, potentially including e-commerce, digital services and fintech.
Following the signing of the memorandum, the two sides will begin sharing knowledge, technology and best practices in areas such as artificial intelligence, blockchain, and cybersecurity, which are key areas for MDEC.
The countries also intend to explore educational exchanges, joint training programs or cooperation between educational institutions and technology centers to improve skills in digital technologies.
Exchanges in the development of digital infrastructure such as data centers, 5G networks or smart city projects are definitely to be expected, in line with MDEC's initiatives to position Malaysia as a digital hub in ASEAN.
🇲🇾MDEC, established in 1996, has played an important role in the development of Malaysia's digital economy by offering incentives and support for digital transformation in various sectors.
