The two maps show the transformation of the museum between 1957 and 2007. Overall, it has become more recreational, with the introduction of the new facilities in its layout. These changes, however, came at the cost of the leafy environment.
In 1957, the museum used to offer only a few facilities to its users. There was a garden in the left corner of the map, to the south of which was a road, with an entrance line. When it comes to its facilities, an entrance hall was located in the bottom of the center of the museum, to the right of which was the history room; the storeroom was situated on the other side of the entrance. And also, there was an exhibition room, which was placed in nearly half of the museum.
In 2007, the museum changed considerably. An education center and special exhibitions were located on the north side of the museum, which resulted in the disappearance of the leafy environment. Where the national exhibition room stood, there was a history room in 2007. The museum shop moved to the right side, and in its place were a café shop and a reception room. While the garden remained intact, the access to the museum was replaced on the left side from the southwest. A new car park was built where the trees had previously occupied.
