Long post ...
Warning: don't read till the end!
This year was the first time I took part in the Olympiad's city stage officially (pardon my grammar mistakes or other... The reason why i prefer writing in English is a lot, so hope you don't mind)
Yes, I used to participate when I was younger. And I was the champion of losers all the time... :
5th grade -English- 4th place
6th grade - give up learning Math and prepare Mother tongue
7th grade -Math- 4th place -reason why i started learning again (i will write another post for this later:)
8th grade- Math- 4th place
Interesting, right? Champion of losers, lol
But in Olympiads aka 'Asosiy fan olimpiadasi' , i didn't take part in the city stage in 9 and 10th grade. Because our school is specialized one, we used to go Nukus without participation of 'tuman bosqichi' . This year, rules changed and we participated to go to regional competition in Nukus. Soooo, 3 days ago I went to an English competition and was really really
disappointed . This was not because I failed, there were so many problems: adolatsizlik, xato tekshirish, ko'chirishga yo telefon ishlatishga imkon bo'lishi and so on... However, my best friend was able to take the third place after rechecking. And this was not the end... Today, I participated in the Math olymp and I realized that 'oz bo'lsada vaziyat yaxshilangan' ya'ni nazorat kuchaytirilgan. After all, I was the first and this is not important. No need to congratulate so!
What I am going to say is : if you have failed, this isn't worth being shy in front of your teachers or parents as I did just 3 days ago. This doesn't affect to your education. This is really important for the school itself, especially director! Just keep going! I am not going to give any kinda motivation, but the only thing you can achieve with these regional Olympiads is the knowledge you can get during your preparation. No matter you win or not.
Take care.
