Take responsibility for people's time.
If you are running a blog or managing social media, consider the time people spend consuming your content. Are they getting anything out of it? Are people better off after reading your posts or watching your reels?
Content creators bear responsibility for everything they publish. If someone is inspired or gains insights from what you share, that's a win. But if someone wastes hours of their life reading useless posts or watching trash reels, you bear responsibility for that too.
The same principle applies to teams. If you keep your team members waiting or don't put your all into your work, you're wasting other people's time. If, at the end of the day, they reflect on the time spent on a project and feel it was wasted, that’s the worst outcome.
You are taking people's most scarce resource—time—for what? Think about that.
