If you have looked at the last 2 or 3 articles, they are more of abstract topics, such as persuasion, memory, over-confidence.
Still stuck at an intermediate level speaking? Then start with these ones. Because, usually speaking about abstract topics become hard, especially to explain what you mean to the listener. So, practice makes perfect.
Read, analyze, write down useful chunks of vocabulary and of course try summarizing orally.
How I recommend reading the articles in the channel:
1️⃣Read the article to get an overall meaning
2️⃣Highlight useful vocabulary, such as idioms, phrasal verbs or collocations.
3️⃣Read the article again. Now you know most of the vocabulary in the article. So it will not be hard to understand.
4️⃣ There are several ways to summarize. But I would recommend summarizing in two ways: orally and written. While writing a summary to the article helps you improve your academic writing (Yes, academic writing. The articles I share are mostly written by experts and writers), summarizing orally is helpful to recall the ideas and vocabulary.
5️⃣ (Optional) Now read the article out loud and record your voice. Listen it back and look for mispronounced words. This is very useful for those who are struggling with fluency and pronunciation.
6️⃣Revise. This is very important. If you want all the information you absorbed to be stored in you long-lasting memory, then revise and implement.
