wrapping up 2024 at a steady note, I found myself consistent with some activities that were started a long time down the road.

among all, my body building and fitness journey has been something worth mentioning.
the grind is unparalleled, motivation is unmatched.
consistency to my work is what snow to the winter: without the former the latter is imperfect.
stating the fact practice does make perfect, I intend on reflecting on this topic further in 2025 as I unconditionally strive for peak physic.

missing soul

my every journey from the library to my apartment, I witness a 60-year-old man with gray-ish mustache wearing a somewhat old hat sitting at the park alone, blankly staring at the playground as if reminiscing old times.
those tired eyes, that weary face that belong to the loneliest person in the world were once shining from happiness, ready to set the world on fire, are now missing the reason they smiled everyday.
as if that sole is not complete enough without its other half which was gone long time ago, taking all the meaning of living with itself. eyes talk, but those hazel ones are silent, they have no purpose in this world anymore.
old man sighs deeply, followed by a little smile knowing that it’s only matter of time before two souls reunite (spiritually) again.

as I was giving my parents a campus tour, I realized how little the university land is.

as my professor brings a zero sugar Coke to the class, she mentions that local Coca Cola's here don't taste like the ones in the USA.

i couldn't help but explain her the side effects it gives, most importantly spiking one's insulin levels.

she thanks me for kindly letting her know.
the next class, she mentions that she consulted doctors if what I said was true and found out it was.

she goes on to further thank me and explains that she will stop drinking them.

crazy how you can influence someone for the better.
