1⃣Skim the Passage First: Don't dive into the questions immediately. Skim the passage to get the general idea and structure. This helps you know where to find details quickly when answering the questions.

2⃣Focus on Keywords: While reading the questions, underline keywords like names, dates, and specific terms. These keywords will help you locate the answers in the text.

3⃣Look for Synonyms: IELTS often uses synonyms or paraphrases rather than the exact words in the passage. Be prepared to match meaning rather than words.

4⃣Read the Instructions Carefully: For some questions, like short-answer ones, there may be word limits. Make sure to follow those strictly to avoid losing points.

5⃣True/False/Not Given Strategy: For True/ False/Not Given questions, check carefully whether the information is directly stated, contradicts the passage, or isn't mentioned at all. It's important not to assume anything outside the text.

6⃣Practice Time Management: You have sixty minutes for the reading section, so time management is key. Allocate about twenty minutes per passage, leaving a bit of time to review.
