Btw, why no one blames the fans of RM for being glory hunters?

The biggest, the most notorious, the most soulless team that sucks in all the best players from all around the world and makes money off of their fans. And their fans comfortably support the team that can only win UCLs

Unlike Arsenal/Manutd/Tottenham, our next season is truly gonna be the one

I think there is a connection between Für Elise and Pushkin’s К***.

Both talk about love that has once drowned the author, and then how the muse has left the author’s life, and then how they came back (or memories about them)

Would love to watch Surxon vs North Korea

Does the word meme actually come from an element of a joke where you find it relatable (=the same)? Thought long about how même sound similar to the english word meme, only now realizing the genre is based around the elements of life that one finds relatable.

Another connection I was drawing up was between "meme" and "mime" - a guy who mimics the other ppl (also the word mimic is also kind of close). Just found out from google that they all come from the greek "mimeisthai" - "to imitate".

the power of linear algebra

First learned about this concept from Firdavs regarding SAT reading. If you pretend like the text is interesting, reading it becomes much more easier, and more info will be retained from the passage. A simple thought like "dang! The effect of caterpillars on mulberry trees in Peru! So interesting!" could significantly increase your score.

Read in reddit that for the most part of your life, you'll feel neutral. Highs and lows will come, but your emotions will be close to neutral in big picture.

We can apply the principle mentioned above in our life too. Artificially prolong the happy moments and articially shorten the sad ones. Even life really sucks right now, forcefully convince yourself that it's the opposite. Try to find reasons why life is good rn (дети в африке голодают а ты не ешь type of shukr doesn't count).

Helps to feel better about life, increases your average emotional state by a tiny bit.

how is this guy likable lowkey.
