What would you like to change in your flat?

I think it would be easier to describe what I would not change in my flat, but let me give you a brief rundown. The first thing is that the layout of the apartment is completely ridiculous. There's one room, which is like incredibly thin, and then one room, which is completely massive. The kitchen actually has a window into the bedroom. A window into the bedroom. You heard that correctly. When we are cooking, all of the smell of the kitchen goes directly into the bedroom for the next three or four hours. So while you are sleeping, you are having dreams of cows and steak, and it's ridiculous. I would say that definitely the layout would be the first thing to change, and then the second thing would be to just renovate everything completely. Tear down the paint on the walls, put down new floor tile, something to just freshen it up because it's ridiculous. It's a terrible apartment.

What do you dislike about your flat?

So as I've already mentioned, several different things. The most uncomfortable feature of the apartment is the layout. The layout has been, I think, created by Satan himself personally. I think he decided where to put each room in the apartment because there is no way that this could be logistically comfortable for anyone. There's this concept. I think it's like Chinese. It's called Feng Shui. It's about the energy of the apartment moving through all of the rooms and through all of the walls. I think that the person who is actually planning this apartment specifically tried to do the opposite of Feng Shui. They tried their best to make the energy as uncomfortable as possible. So that's my most disliked part of this apartment. It's the fact that every part of the apartment feels out of place. It's really not a good apartment at all.

What color would you never use in your home?

I would say that the worst color to use in your house is probably red because I feel like red is a very aggressive color. Red creates a lot of emotion. Maybe it's good color for the bedroom, just in case. But in most situations, I feel like red is too nagging of a color. It really catches your eye and it makes you focus on it. I would say the best colors are neutral colors and colors that allow you to forget about them. Allow you to just not see them. I think those are the best colors.

What color would you choose to paint the walls of your room?

If I actually had a choice for myself, I would say some color of gray, like almost white, almost gray, one color that is directly between them. The reason is if it were white, it would be too easy to make the walls dirty. I don't think white walls are a good option. But if it's really gray, like it's in the middle of white and black, that would result in a very dull living. I would say that somewhere directly in the middle of gray and white would be the optimal color for walls.

Can you describe the place where you live?

Currently, I'm living in an apartment and it has been very difficult because we moved here relatively recently. We moved here about like two months ago and this apartment has become a nightmare. There are insects in certain places, cockroaches. The walls are like peeling, you know, the paint on the walls is peeling and there is like dirt showing up in places even after you clean and it's been a disaster. It's probably one of the worst apartments I've ever lived in.

What kind of housing accommodation do you live in?

So as I said, I live in an apartment, but actually, in the past, I used to live in a house which was significantly more comfortable. We had some, you know, kind of arrangements, and because of that, I had to move away from that house, and now I live in this apartment. I've also lived in other apartments before, so I'm, you know, pretty knowledgeable in apartments and houses and all that kind of stuff, and I can tell you that, you know, there's definitely better options than what I have now.

What do you like about your flat?

I would say the only good thing about my flat is there is one room, which I'm actually sitting in right now, which is really comfortable. There's one room with a wide open space. There is a big cabinet where I keep all of my belongings, and that's about the only good thing that is, you know, relevant to this apartment. Everything else I would say counts as a negative.

What room does your family spend most of the time in?

I would say we spend most of the time in the kitchen. We spend quite a lot of time cooking either together or separately. Recently I've gotten into steak and I am a big fan of making steaks. I'm actually quite good at it as well. I'd say I'm pretty versed in, you know, cooking meat. So, you know, we've been spending a lot of time in the kitchen to, you know, fulfill our dietary needs.

What can you see from the windows where you live?

I think our windows actually overlook the inner garden. It's not really a garden. It's more of like a driveway, right? So, it's an inner driveway into the inside of the apartment block. So, it's like an L-shaped apartment, and we have a driveway going through the middle of our apartment. It goes actually under the building. There's like an archway, and our apartment directly overlooks the archway, which I guess is a pretty cool piece of architecture, but actually, it's quite ridiculous. I don't like looking at cars all day, especially because they are not beautiful cars.

Do you prefer living in a house or a flat?

Both houses and flats have, you know, drawbacks and benefits. I would say that living in an apartment is significantly easier, especially if you find yourself a good apartment that has all of the appropriate accommodations, all of the necessary amenities. And if you have an apartment like that, you could easily enjoy a comfortable living. Whereas with a house, you really have to put some elbow grease into it. You have to put some grit into ensuring that your life is comfortable. Houses require a lot more maintenance and I think that houses, you know, they have like electricity cutouts more often.
