Hello. what do u think is it objectively worth studying econ only for 4 years? I understand that this varies by people, but would u think some engineering degree would be more interesting, challenging and at the same time self rewarding in terms of practicality and future job
I am not an econ guy and my knowledge of that field is scarce but I know couple of people who hold engineering degree and work very comfortably in econ. Having degree in engineering or physics generally opens a lot of options for you to explore after undergrad. So I would say do engineering for bachelors and then specialize in whatever you want. You can not become engineer as an econ major but you can become economist as engineer.
