You all know that ninety-nine times out of a hundred, I write task 2 essays that exceed 300 words, and sometimes even reach 400 words, to maximize my chances of scoring higher, especially in Grammatical Range and Accuracy (GRA) and Task Response (TR) criteria. As sweet as this essay is, I do not recommend you write a short essay, particularly in Task 2; I have a strong gut feeling that writing that kind of essay is going to be very difficult for you to get a high score. The reason is simple: the more words you write, the more opportunities you have to demonstrate your grammar and vocabulary, which can give the examiner the impression that you are a higher-level candidate and above average.
As for this essay, I wrote it after reading a very nice sample written by a brilliant candidate. If I had this topic in my real exam, I would never write a short essay; this was merely an experiment.
