As much as I want ==== Contrast between desire and reality

✅ As much as I want to sleep, I have to finish my work. === Although I want to sleep, I must work.

✅ As much as I want to travel, I can’t afford it right now. ==== Even though I want to travel, it’s not possible.

✅ As much as I want a break, I know I need to keep studying. ==== Despite wanting a break, I must continue.

✅ As much as I wanted to like the movie, it just wasn’t my style. ==== I tried to like it, but I couldn’t.

Per se ==== meaning "by itself" or "intrinsically"

✅ Money isn’t bad per se, but greed is.

✅ The book isn’t about politics per se, but it includes political themes.

❌ The book isn’t about politics per say.

Hopefully, these structures can help you become much fluent and vary your grammar.

this is a must watch

they are right in saying that Uzbek people are built different, they are good at speaking in others' languages almost exactly like them, personally, i have seen my Vietnamese course mates being amazed when Uzbek students read words in their language.

first highlighted phrase means, on its own, meaning something is already important without mentioning other factors, e.g, a knife in and of itself is not dangerous, but if someone uses it carelessly, it becomes dangerous

the second one means several, e.g, there were a handful of houses on this street in 2000, but now there are hundreds.

same goes for the use of but

again there should be a main clause after but

if you only write but in a dependent clause, and end your sentence, you are cooked

apparently, some students try to use because at the beginning of a sentence, and end up making up a wrong sentence

they may write something like, "Global temperatures are rising and it is posing a serious threat to the environment. Because we are emitting a lot of co2 emissions". and that is it, no continuation of the sentence, this should have been added to the previous sentence.

But here you can see the correct use of because at the beginning of a sentence, it substitutes as, or since, AND there is a main clause after because.

Internet "E" da ishlasa mazza bo'lsa kerak a?

In the digital age, some people argue that theatres and cinemas are becoming obsolete as online platforms provide unlimited entertainment at the click of a button. Others, however, believe that these venues remain economically and culturally significant. While both perspectives have merit, I firmly believe that traditional cinemas and theatres are losing relevance for two main reasons.

On the one hand, it can be argued that theatres and cinemas still play a vital role, particularly in economic and cultural aspects. From an economic standpoint, these establishments generate substantial revenue for the entertainment industry. For example, in 2023, the U.S. film industry earned nearly $50 billion from cinema ticket sales, as major film studios continue to release blockbuster movies exclusively in theatres before making them available on digital platforms.

Moreover, cinemas and theatres hold immense cultural value, as they serve as spaces for social interaction and shared experiences. When a highly anticipated movie is released, it provides an opportunity for people with similar interests to gather, fostering a sense of community. Additionally, the immersive experience that cinemas offer—such as high-quality sound and visual effects—cannot be easily replicated at home, making them a preferred choice for some movie enthusiasts.

On the other hand, I believe that theatres and cinemas are becoming increasingly irrelevant due to the growing accessibility and affordability of digital streaming services. Platforms like Netflix, Disney+, and Amazon Prime provide on-demand access to a vast array of films and TV shows at a fraction of the cost of cinema tickets. For instance, instead of paying $10–$15 for a single movie ticket, individuals can subscribe to an entire month of streaming for the same amount, gaining access to a much larger selection of content.

Furthermore, digital platforms offer unparalleled convenience, allowing users to watch their favorite films anytime and anywhere. Unlike cinemas, where strict schedules and high costs can be limiting, streaming services provide the flexibility to pause, rewind, or rewatch content, enhancing the overall viewing experience. This level of control, combined with cost-effectiveness, is a key reason why many people now prefer digital entertainment over traditional movie-going.

In conclusion, while cinemas and theatres continue to contribute to the economy and cultural heritage, their significance is gradually diminishing due to the affordability and convenience of online streaming platforms. Given the rapid advancement of digital technology, I believe that theatres and cinemas will eventually become niche experiences rather than mainstream entertainment hubs.

People have different views about the importance of theatres and cinemas. For some, it will soon become obsolete since people are used to watching everything through online platforms, while others believe that these places are still economically and culturally important for a country. I believe that the former view is true for two main reasons.

On the one hand, it can be argued that the role of cinemas and theatres are still important as countries are getting a huge profit from these places. To illustrate, the USA made almost fifty billion dollars of revenue from cinemas last year. This is mainly because major film producers initially give their products’ premiers in cinemas for the first couple of months before the same films will be available in other online platforms.

Moreover, cultural significance of theatres and cinemas is also worth noting since these places represent countries’ history and help bring people together. For instance, when a new film releases in cinemas it will create an opportunity for like-minded people to gather in one place and share an enjoyable experience. In addition, the atmosphere in the cinemas is in perfect condition for audience which cannot be found at home. Take the lighting and sound as examples, in cinemas the lighting is adjusted for everybody considering where the viewer will be watching the movie or the sound is also so realistic and audible that even people in the last rows will not have any difficulties with hearing.

On the other hand, I feel that the cinemas and theatres are no longer important as these days people have relatively easy and cheap access to online platforms rather than the cinemas and theatres. One such example can be Netflix. Since the covid-19 pandemic, the number of users on this platform has increased significantly as it started to suggest the latest movie premiers in different genres. This can be a good bargain for movie fans who can buy one month subscription for ten dollars instead of buying one ticket for a single movie for that amount.

Another advantage of watching movies through online platforms can be its convenience. The reason why is that one can watch their favorite movies wherever and whenever they want and there will be no limit for the audience, meaning that they can save decent amount of money. Apart from that, people have an opportunity to watch the same movie over and over or make pauses when they want, helping them to do some important tasks in between or have discussions about the movie, an experience which is not possible in cinemas.

To conclude, the importance of cinemas and theatres is disputed by many. Some people consider they are still important for country’s economy and culture, however, others including me, believe that they are not necessary in our daily life since the availability of cheap and easy online platforms.
