So'zlashuv uchun: Predloglar
⚡️to / in / at

👉 Biror manzilga yo'nalishni bildirish uchun "to" qo'shimchasi qo'shiladi:

We are going to London next week - Biz keyingi hafta Londonga ketyapmiz.

He is walking to the door - U eshik tomonga yuryapdi.

👉 "Home" (uy) so'zida "to" ishlatilmaydi. Bu so'zning o'zi yo'nalishni anglatadi:

Did you walk home? - Uyga piyoda yurdingizmi?

👉Biror joyning ichida bo'lmoq nazarda tutilganda "in" ishlatiladi:

My brother lives in Tashkent - Mening akam Toshkentda yashaydi.

👉 Ammo, university, school, house, home, the party kabi so'zlarda va biror narsani yonida deyotganimizda "at" qo'shimchasi qo'shiladi:

I am staying at home - Men uyda qolyapman.

He is standing at the door - U eshik oldida turibdi.

👉 "Arrive" (yetib kelmoq) so'zidan keyin "to" ishlatilmaydi, in/at ishlatilishi mumkin. Eslab qolamiz, davlat va shahar nomlari bilan kelganda doim "in" qo'yiladi:

They arrived in Uzbekistan last week - Ular O'zbekistonga o'tgan hafta yetib keldi.

👉 Bu so'z boshqa joylar bilan kelganda "at" ishlatiladi:

What time did they arrive at the hotel? - Ular mehmonxonaga qaysi vaqtda yetib keldi?

Agar biror kishi chaqaloqni o'gil yoki qizligini bilmaganida unga nisbatan it olmoshidan foydalanishi mumkin:

- The baby was sucking its thumb.

Farzand kutayotgani aytilganda "she is waiting a baby" deyilmaydi, balkim uning o'rniga "she is expecting a baby" deyiladi.

🔸Abroad

Abroad so'zidan oldin predlog ishlatilmaydi.

- I've never lived (NOT in/on) abroad before.

Lekin from predlogi bilan kelishi mumkin:

- We impot bananas from abroad.
