Vegetarian vs Vegan vs Pescatarian
This morning we spoke about food and drinks and discussed different types of diets. Here are a few words I thought might come in handy in your speaking on the topics of eating, cooking and diet.
1. Vegetarian - someone who doesn't eat meat (for different purposes)
So, no beef, chicken or lamb. Even seafood.
Common Reasons: religious restrictions, moral reasons, personal preferences.
2. Vegan - someone who has even stricter diet - no animal products at all
So, no milk, honey or eggs as they come from animals.
3. Pescetarian - someone who eats fish, but not any other type of meat.
So, seafood is okay, but still vegetarian.
