✅A year ago, you lent your favourite book to a friend who you thought would enjoy it. Unfortunately, your friend has forgotten to return it. The book has sentimental value to you as it had been presented by your grandmother.
Write a letter to your friend. In the letter:

➡️remind him/her about the book
➡️explain why you need it back

Dear Mim,

It's been a while since I have received your letter. Hopefully, you are doing great. How are Eric, Sumi and Amelia doing? I wish I could visit you and spend some quality time with you all.

I have recently joined a large telecommunication company in Brisbane as a project manager and I am enjoying the job. Are you still taking the yoga classes? Do you still read books the way you did in the past? I wish I have been a passionate reader like you. Have you finished reading 'Lady Susan' by Jane Austen that you borrowed
from me about a year ago? I quite enjoyed reading it and this book is special to me as my grandmother gave it to me on my 14th birthday. This book is a reminder of
her who had been a loving personality and an idol in my teenage. I hope you enjoyed reading it as much as I did and you would not mind returning it. I consider
it one of my greatest possessions.

I would really appreciate it if you can return the book via the postal service at your convenience. If you are yet to finish it, send me after you read it.Why don't you visit us sometime during the summer vacation? We would be glad to have you at our home.

Dear Sir or Madam,

My name is Jamie Ferguson, and I am writing this letter to enquire about the status of my job application and interview.
I applied for the position of Management Trainee at your company, and my interview took place on 14th March. Unfortunately, I have not got any decision yet from your end, even though I was told that the human resource department would inform me about a hiring decision on me within one week of the interview.

I am contacting you also because I thought that I did excellent in the interview.
After all, four people quizzed me for almost 30 minutes, and yet, I never stumbled for once. At the end of my interview, they even told me that they were very impressed with my performance.

I need to know the result of this interview because I will have to decide on whether or not to renew my apartment lease within the next week or move to another area.
If I am selected for the job, I will renew the rental lease.
So, I hope that you understand the urgency of my situation and be kind enough to let me know about a hiring decision on me at your earliest convenience.
