Nowadays I’ve noticed a big difference between British and American podcasts compared to Uzbek ones. It feels like they’re living in a completely different world. In Uzbek podcasts, the main topics are often about movies, family issues, futbol, how to achieve good score from IELTS and questions like 'What kind of IELTS or SAT score did you get?' or 'How did you feel when you got a 9.0 band score?'
Meanwhile, Western podcasts focus on deeper psychological issues like stress, sugar addiction, mindset problems, obesity, loneliness, friendships, anxiety, dopamine, sleep, financial habits (like saving money in banks), narcissism, and so on.
What’s even more fascinating is the length of these discussions. Each episode is around 1.5 to 2 hours long! For example, one podcast spent two hours discussing sleep alone.
Come on🤦♀
