As a sincere admirer and enthusiast of stories about the Golden Age of Islam, I was very curious to learn about the famous commander Salah ad-Din Ayyubi, known in Europe as Saladin. Honestly, on YouTube, especially in Shorts, you often come across excerpts from the film 'Kingdom of Heaven,' which prompted me to watch it.
As I suspected, the film is heavily biased and prejudiced, portraying Christians as brave fighters while suggesting that Muslims captured Jerusalem solely due to their numerical advantage. Haha, I can't believe it; at that time, there were over a million Crusaders, so that's nonsense. Moreover, if you look at the battle scenes, you can see that only Christians are shown killing Muslims, and there are no strong fighters on their side—it's so biased, it's almost shameful.
Additionally, there are some inaccuracies in the film; for instance, in the portrayal of the Fajr prayer (the morning prayer), it shows people praying after sunrise, while in reality, it should be completed before sunrise, and so on.
Salah ad-Din Ayyubi was indeed a true commander and a genuine believer, distinguished from others by his piety and dignity.
