Highly recommended)
I started from elementary level and got 7.5 with the help of this teacher( my bro)

My results after starting to attend his classes:
Listening 5.5 to 9
Reading 5 to 8
Writing 5.5 to 7
Speaking 5 to 6( I didn't like speaking at all, so it was my fault).

About Beowulf

We have an interesting subject here at UZSWLU called 'History of English and American literature'. This subject is almost the same as 'Adabiyot' in Uzbek schools. Like all Uzbek literature books, we start this subject with epic poetry. As we have Alpomish, Kuntug'mish, and Ravshan, they have Beowulf.

Beowulf is also a heroic poem. The protagonist fights against some supernatural creatures like Grendal and his mother (a see monster) and a dragon. The scenario is similar to Uzbek poems.

Now, I will share a video about Beowulf.

More and more people today are spending large amounts of money on their appearance in order to look younger.

Why do people want to look younger?
Do you think this is a positive or negative development?

In recent years, it has become increasingly popular among people to invest a large amount of money into their appearance with the intention of looking more attractive and hence younger. The explanations to why they do so vary from relationship issues to a lack of self-esteem. Personally, I see this trend in a negative light for multiple reasons.

There are a couple of factors that influence people's decisions about such surgeries. One has to do with problems in relationships, an especially common issue among more mature adults or individuals with facial defects, such as a curved nose. More often than not, a small surgery like rhinoplasty (nose surgery) or blepharoplasty (eyelid surgery) helps solve these problems by adding attractiveness to one's look, thereby increasing chances for successful new relationships. Another reason would be low self-esteem developed by social standards. More specifically, some people are likely to gain excess weight with age, which makes them feel rather unattractive. This, in turn, causes feelings of discomfort and isolation, making it difficult to socialize. However, a surgery can open a new chapter of life for these people and boost their self-confidence.

In my view, this development should be discouraged for two principal reasons. First and foremost, no medical professional guarantees perfect results, meaning that a tiny mistake can lead to serious health complications. If this is the case, instead of helping improve one's beauty, a person might end up being even more unattractive or even dying. An Instagram blogger in my country, for example, opted for rhinoplasty last year, but due to a negligible error by his surgeon, he passed at the age of 22, highlighting the fact that one shouldn't risk with their lives to just look beautiful. Moreover, such a surgery costs significant amounts of money, with the costs not being limited to a surgery only but also including follow-up check-ups and treatments. This puts a significant financial strain on individuals, increasing chances of getting into debt. Rather than seeking instant gratification with a surgery, it would be more sensible for these people to invest this money on self-development, both physical and psychological, as well as education that can bring more long-term satisfaction from life.

To sum up, while problems common in building relationships coupled with perfect social standards urge people to resort to surgeries to look younger, I personally consider this change to be for the worse, due to significant health concerns and costs involved.

More and more parents are allowing their children to play on computers and tablets as they think that children should learn technology skills.

Do the advantages of this development outweigh the disadvantages?

It is becoming increasingly common to see parents normalizing their children playing on their computers or tablets with the idea that it helps their children develop skills related to technology. While this trend does have some merits, I believe its drawbacks, especially in terms of children’s overall well-being, are more consequential.

Children, indeed, develop technology-related skills by playing on their electronic gadgets. Playing on computers and tablets can help them learn keyboard navigation for quick typing, online browsing, and app usage. These skills, in turn, can enhance their job prospects as most workplaces have become digitalized, requiring technology literacy. Besides, smart gadgets can be a much-needed parental aid for parents today. They can serve as a useful diversion for children whose parents are often busy working. Allowing the child a 30-minute gaming session gives their parents some downtime for self-care and recreation, which is essential for modern-day parents to balance their personal lives with work.

Advantageous as they may be, electronic devices have considerable negative implications for children. First, they are detrimental to their physical well-being since prolonged screen time has been found to cause eye strain, poor posture, headaches, and obesity from reduced activity. Excessive computer use among children has some social ramifications as well. Children who spend their time mostly on their gadgets run the risk of being less socially active as they have less real-world interaction, as a result of which they grow up to be socially awkward and poorly adjusted. This, in turn, diminishes their future prospects – both professional and personal – as strong social skills are essential in almost every aspect of life. Moreover, some digital games promote violence and hostility, which can lead children to exhibit aggression toward others and be in a constant state of anger and frustration.

In conclusion, allowing children to play on their computers and tablets under the pretext of developing technology skills does seem sensible in some regards, but I would caution parents about the dangers of this decision in terms of their children’s overall well-being.

Many people argue that restaurants should be required to disclose the nutritional information of the dishes they serve.

Do the advantages outweigh the disadvantages?

It is suggested that restaurants be obliged to share information about the nutritional value of the dishes on their menu. I believe doing so brings more benefits than any potential drawbacks.

Requiring restaurants to share information on what nutrients their dishes contain does pose some problems. The main challenge would be the implementation of this suggestion in the first place. Not all restaurants are likely to welcome this idea as they would have to allocate resources to arrange and hire dedicated staff to oversee this job. Although some high-end restaurants can be expected to accept this policy, most others would resist due to the expenses involved in incorporating this system into their operations.

I, however, reckon that the upsides of sharing information regarding the nutritional value of dishes at restaurants are more significant. Firstly, such information allows diners to make conscious food choices with ease. People can select food items that meet their dietary requirements: individuals can choose from low-calorie or calorie-dense options based on whether they are on a caloric restriction or in a bulking phase. Easy access to such information, hence, enables people to adhere to their dietary goals effortlessly.

Another positive outcome would be reduced cases of food poisoning. People who eat out are often at risk of consuming food that can upset their digestive system, so having information such warning labels, caloric count, and nutritional contents can help make better eating choices, thereby diminishing the likelihood of stomach issues.

Furthermore, restaurants can boost their revenue by attracting more customers for providing informative menus. More and more people are conscious of today’s health and fitness trends, and they tend to choose restaurants which share these values over those which do not.

In conclusion, while expecting restaurants to provide information on the nutritional value of their dishes can be too much to ask in terms of financial costs, I consider that the benefits stemming from it overshadow the possible disadvantages.
