❓I can come up with ideas, but I find it difficult to develop them. What advice would you give to me?

You might actually want to get away from IELTS a bit. I would practice reading persuasive/argumentative/discursive (same thing) essays or writing in English, or even in your first language, and practice breaking down their arguments into simple, basic points. That's all that the IELTS is really.

If you can quickly summarize (in your head) things like "why public healthcare is important" or "why taking a year off from university is a good idea" etc, etc, and break it down systematically, then IELTS will be pretty easy.

Sometimes people benefit from taking time away from IELTS stuff (a lot of IELTS stuff is a bit 'gimmicky' and focuses too much on the test specifics... don't forget IELTS is just a practical English test). This could help free up your thinking a little.

Planning your answer helps you to achieve band 7 and above in Task response because it means you address ALL parts of the question. It also helps you reach band 7 in Coherence and cohesion because it means your paragraphs are logically organized.
However, another key part of reaching band 7 in Task response is making your position clear throughout your answer. Many people believe that this means giving your opinion in the introduction and again in the conclusion. I discuss the problems with this approach in detail in chapter 7 and explain why it can keep you stuck at band 6 or 6.5.
Below are 3 different answers to this writing task. In the samples, I deliberately took 3 different positions: total disagreement, total agreement, and a neutral position. Read the samples to see how I made these 3 different positions clear throughout using a combination of language and ideas. Chapters 3 and 4 of The Key to IELTS Success will help you to understand how the language you use can affect your position.

Great, useful and important vocabularies that I've used above in the answers👆.

- to influence customers' choices
➡️ to affect or encourage shoppers' choice while buying something.

- marketing slogan
➡️ a short phrase that is easy to understand or remember and is used in advertisements

- convince somebody to do smth
➡️ to persuade somebody to do something

- marketing plan
➡️ a plan for a company that is aboout to show how to sell the product, how to advertise it, how to name it , ect

- special offers
➡️ a low price charged for a product for a short time

- target sector of population
➡️ specific part of population, for example doctors, teachers, builders.....

- the volume of sales
➡️ the amount of goods a company sells.

- run/publish an advertisement
➡️ print or broadcast an advertisement

These are topic vocabularies that you can use while speaking about shopping and marketing.

Well, I think the first thing that the company has to do is to make the product inside the boxes and packages reliable and healthy. I believe that this is the main factor of increasing the volume of sales. The next way of growing the sales is that the company must run an advertisement of their product. But they have to decide where to publish advertisements and what the ads should say. Maybe the ads will include coupons for free samples. Maybe marketing team will try something innovative, like offering a scholarship to a lucky winner and if the marketing is really affective people will automatically select this product from the dozens of goods on the shelves in the supermarket.

2. How important is it to have a marketing plan for a company?

I think a company is not a company without a marketing plan. Because marketing plan that is administered by marketing director includes what to name the product, how to advertise it, how to price it, how to package it, and how to convince customers to buy it. In fact, marketing director makes special offers as well as selecting the target sector of population is the main part of marketing plan, the group that they think is most likely to buy the product. I can also say that marketing plan is the foundation that makes the company. And I think marketing plan is the main part of a company.

Answer: well, that is a good question. To be totally honest, I’m not that good at sales and shopping and marketing and things like that. But I guess there are a lot of ways to influence customers’ choices while buying some particular product. You know the marketers of the company can create clever ways to persuade customers to buy one product instead of another. For example, a marketing director of a company can create a marketing slogan that is going to convince the customers to buy the product. Another way that is going to help is that marketing director has to create an innovative way of decorating the packages of the product. Often these have little to do with the food or something inside the boxes. Instead they are only to attract shoppers.

🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 super-duper great👍 right?

So, now I will explain something that is crucial for everyone here. During my process of learning and teaching, I've found that reading increases not only reading skills, like reading comprehension and bla bla bla... but also your writing and speaking skills. I'm not saying that reading some kind of boring textbooks and stuff like that, but authentic, real english articles written for native speaker, english students. I really hate textbooks because I think most, not most😄, all of us study textbooks at School, right? They were really boring. But now is you are independent, there is no Schoollll, yeahhhhh🔥🔥🔥🔥. We are boossss noow.. . So reading authentic articles is gonna help you a lot in a long run. If you dont belive what I can do with reading articles.

PS: I've made these question below by reading and anylizing the article that I've read. And you cannot find the their answers and questions anywehere else.
