Kyrgyz border guards Seize over $21,000 in contraband in two separate incidents

Kyrgyz border guards intercepted two smuggling attempts worth approximately $21,800 on January 9 and 10. In separate operations, they seized 3 tons of chicken and 300 kg of sheep fat being smuggled into Tajikistan, and eight boxes of electronic cigarettes being brought into Kyrgyzstan from Tajikistan, both without proper documentation.
