Just now found out this fact because of c++ homework. The only new thing/fact I learned this semester (we have 2 weeks, excluding current week, till midterms)
Midterms - another topic for discussion. Most of the students, like me, dont feel that "suffer more" year has started. Maybe because we have started the academic year too early, one month+ earlier than previous year. Or, because we havent learned any new concept?
Every subject, even intro to programming, is just continuation (a bit) advanced version of the concepts we, at least some of us, have learned.
So whats new about those subjects? Probably only the names - they are fancier.
Also, professors dont like the fact that we have learned their subject as part of another subject. They like dumb students. The ones who know nothing. Imho) the reason is, those students, 100%, will pay attention. Others, who know the concept - 50/50.
