✍️Writing task 2There is a debate over who should cope with present environmental problems, with some saying the government should handle it and other arguing that only people can solve this problem. In my opinion, while citizens have power to deal with it, the government still remain the main dominant who can have a huge impact on solving these problems.
One reason why citizens are regarded as the main dealers of the ecological issues is that they are able to make a protest against and make a move toward handling these problems. For instance, making protests raise the awareness of public, which encourages others to help and take action advancing to reduce or remove all of the modern ecological concerns. Another argument is that they can save the ecology by first taking actions themselves and show it to public through the social medias. Many people use different social media apps every day and it makes very easy to spread what we want.
In my opinion, however, actions that are carried out by the authorities are much more powerful than individuals’ measurements. The authorities have the right to implement laws to protect the environment from harmful activities. Nowadays, many citizens are causing troubles for the environment that is a reason why the government must enforce strict environmental laws in order to prevent climate-related disasters. Additionally, imposing fine to every harmful act to natural surrounding can be a highly effective solution. In many cases, many individuals attempt to evade fines and taxes.
In conclusion, the public actions, such as first taking care of the ecology themselves and make it trend on social medias, have a powerful influence on the natural world. However, the government can have more crucial role on coping with the ecology challenges with applying legal measure and charging fee to citizens who have committed an environmental harmful act.
