a little glimpse into my uni life

Little things that are not little:

– watching someone open a gift you know they will love
– eye contact when someone is asking how you are
– friends who say your name in a room full of opportunities
– calling someone by their name while talking
– messages that do not lose “mehr” even when some time passes

When everything feels like too much...

It’s okay to feel overwhelmed. Sometimes it feels like there’s no way to catch up, but here’s the thing: you’re doing more than enough, even on the tough days.

Take a deep breath, and don’t be too hard on yourself. You don’t have to have it all figured out right now. Progress comes in small, quiet moments. One step at a time is all it takes. You’ve made it this far, and that’s already something to be proud of. Trust the process, trust yourself, and keep going.

Those who are taking exams at university, I do feel you 🫂 Keep going because you’re capable of so much more than you realize ❤️‍🩹 Just focus on what’s in front of you and take it as it comes.

Best regards,
Sevinch who needs to get prepared for upcoming courseworks

warm hellos from uniii 🌝

The last time I wrote an introductory post was when I opened this channel I guess. Time to write one more?

Okay, I am Sevinch, 17-year-old girl who has many big dreams, who tries to find beauty in things around her. That is one thing came to my mind while describing myself ☺️

Since my childhood, I have tried my best to study hard and be one of the TOP students of the class. English, my second language, has always been my favorite one and I started learning it at very young age – just when I started school. I did not go to many courses outside of school, and I studied IELTS itself at Cambridge LC in 2022-23. After getting band 8.0 from this test, I immediately began my math journey which lasted till I entered WIUT.

As for my personality, I am someone who loves talking with people and connecting on a deeper level (I am mostly an extrovert). I find joy in helping others as much as I can, whether it’s offering advice, sharing experiences, or just being there when someone needs a little support.

I really value organization and neatness in everything, let it be studies or workspace. That helps me stay focused and productive.

I do like reading novels and fiction books, especially uzbek ones. My fav author is O'tkir Hoshimov. Besides, I read almost all books of Xudoyberdi To'xtaboyev when I was younger just because I liked how he writes 🤭 Painting, journalling, taking photos and videos are other hobbies of mine. I also love watching movies; my favorite one of all time is Interstellar)

Soo, this is enough for now ✨ Do you know anything else about me, actually?

memories that never fade…

January so far...

The second semester at WIUT started last week, on 13th of January, with 2 lectures: Business and Finance.

Yes, I had chosen these ones as my optional modules for the second half of the academic year. And my thoughts for now? Well, both of them seem pretty interesting. What about other subjects, you ask? We still have Academic English, Developing Professional Identity and I, citizen (done with Quantitative Methods 😅).

As groups here change every single semester, I also started studying in a new group, got acquainted with many people. My new groupmates are, indeed, talented and intelligent ☺️

Mmm, what else I can say about uni life... I guess that is it for now)) Ahh, by the way, maths entrance exams at WIUT are gonna start earlier (in March) this year it turns out. If anyone wants to study there, the best of luck with your uni preparation 💕

Ever felt disappointed when the score you got did not meet your expectations?

🥲 Maybe it’s an exam, a project, or something you worked hard for, but the result just did not reflect your effort. It’s a bit frustrating, isn’t it?

But here’s the thing: one result does NOT define your abilities or your potential. It’s just a step, not the whole staircase. What really matters is what you do next — analyzing what went wrong, adjusting your approach and, of course, keep going.

✨ Remember, setbacks are NOT failures. They are lessons. So, take a breath, reflect, and keep moving forward. You’re capable of much more than one result can show!

with love,
Sevinch 💗

🫧 Cartoons to watch 🫧

I do not usually watch cartoons, but generally I still like them. Here are the good ones which I could remember:

• Inside out
• Coco (Iiked this one while watching)
• Soul
• Elemental
• Turning red
• Raya and the last dragon
• Toy story
• Zootopia

Plus, there are hundreds of great Disney cartoons which you can find on the internet 🫠

One ❤️‍🔥 and I will make the list of tv-series, too)

Focus on your general english more. Start reading books and articles, and + analyze your answers thoroughly after doing practice tests. Try to get the overall meaning of each sentence, paragraph, text and questions. After solving practice tests, find unknown words which prevented you from finding the correct answer. Translate and learn them.

Apart from that, I guess you should learn some IELTS reading techniques cuz they may help you to solve practice tests faster and more effectively.

First try to improve the quality, then, you can start working with a timer.
