People a heated controversy on the right kind of a candidate to recruit. It is thought by some that innovative and independent applicants are effective for companies, while others claim that team working skills and the ability to follow the rules are key factors when recruiting an applicant.

On the one hand, employees' ability to make innovations on their own can benefit companies in different moments. One of these situations is when a company faces a certain problem, such as obligatory staff cuts and financial losses due to unstable prices. A suitable example for this can be the case in a toothpaste company called Colgate, where a creative worker advised managers to expand the opening tube of the toothpaste, thinking that customers would unconsciously use more paste than usual. This devious change in the design brought millions of dollars to the company.

On the other hand, employees with team working skills and obedience can even prove more beneficial for the organization. The ability to work with a team in a large company can increase unity among the staff and make it easier for colleagues to work together. If the members of a team can work together effectively, this will probably increase job satisfaction and staff cuts. Obedient workers do not break the internal rules within a company and cause the fewest problems. Teamwork with fewer mistakes in terms of rules can be considered an important skill employers should seek in candidates.

In conclusion, according to the arguments provided in the body paragraphs, I personally think that recruiting whether obedient workers with team working skills or innovative ad independent candidates should be decided based on the type of the job. Vacancies in business and art requires innovation, while jobs, such as fire fighting favor those who are willing to work with a team and strictly abide by the rules.

The table shows the breakdown of Indian candidates studying at six different universities in Great Britain in two academic years, namely 2020/21 and 2021/22. Overall, the number of Indian students increased significantly in all of the universities, while the increases in three of the institutions were more than double. Notably, Coventry University admitted the most Indian applicants in the second academic year in comparison to BPP university admitting the most in the previous year.

Although the figures rose in all the universities,
half of them experienced a two-fold growth in two consecutive academic years. The number of Indian students at Coventry University rose from 2390 in 2020/21 to 5190 in 2021/22, a 121.3% growth, which made this institution the dominant in terms of admitting Indian Universities. Similarly, although only 815 Indian students were studying at Sheffield University initially, this number had a 187.7% rise, reaching 2345 after a year. The figure for the University of Leicester slightly more than doubled to 2390 by 1215.

The rises in the three remaining universities were relatively smaller. The number at Greenwich University went up from 2455 to 4540, a nearly 85% increase. Despite the initial 3505, 5145 Indian students were studying at BPP University, a much higher data compared with Anglia Ruskin University, where Indian student number reached 3265.
